Today, Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Alexey Lipanov to a three-year entry-level contract.
The 18-year-old forward played one preseason game against the Carolina Hurricanes. He recorded two shots on goal in the contest. Lipanov also competed in three games during the rookie tournament in Nashville.
The Lightning selected him in the third round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
