For the latest Leafs updates or Follow @mikeinbuffalo on Twitter Leafs GM Kyle Dubas indicated that with the start date of the 2020-21 NHL season up in the air, he would continue looking to place some players with European clubs to get them game action, and on Monday, the club loaned center prospect Semyon Der-Argushintsev to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the KHL. Der-Argushintsev, 20, had 75 points (12 goals, 63 assists) in 55 games with the Peterborough Petes last season and was slated to play the Toronto Marlies next season, but that is uncertain with the start of the American Hockey League in question.
