The Los Angeles Kings announced yesterday that they’ve signed forward Lias Andersson to a one-year contract extension, which carries a $874,125 cap hit.
NEWS: The LA Kings have signed @LiasAndersson to a one-year, two-way contract.

The forward played with both the Los Angeles Kings and AHL’s Ontario Reign this past season. He scored three goals and six points in 23 games with the Kings and managed six goals and 17 points in 15 AHL games with the Reign.
While Andersson did split the year between the NHL and AHL, the expectation for him next season should be to take on a full-time role with the Kings. It’s somewhat difficult to predict his long-term ceiling, though he could still develop into a quality bottom-six center.
