Just a gut feeling for today's Centennial Classic...It will be the Auston Matthews show. I know that is no bold prediction as Matthews is white hot currently, but besides his raw and superb skill is one other aspect of his game that will define him as a superstar.
He has a flare for the dramatic in big game situations. The four goals in his first game was the perfect example....
One other thing that is certain...when all the reporters ask the obligatory questions about how playing outside today reminds the players of winters as a kid.....Matthews, being from Arizona, may not have the best stories of the frozen lakes of his youth....in those 80 degree winters...
