Game Two Tonight: Capitals vs Golden Knights (Capitals)

Game two of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final will go tonight.

The Vegas Knights prevailed in game one in a fairly even 6-4 (empty netter) victory. The high scoring match was a surprise after both team's goalie had played so well over the first three rounds of the playoffs.

There was a controversial goal, a non-call, and a Tom Wilson hit that warranted discussion about suspension. (Though none was handed down). Add in the ten goals, and it was as pretty sweet game, even if I'd have preferred a Capitals win.

For perspective, the four goals Washington scored on Monday night were one more goal than the LA Kings scored during their entire series against the Knights.

I know I'm not repeating anything you don't probably already know - but it's so crazy it's worth mentioning it again.

So if Fleury is, in fact, not a robot from the future sent back to kill John Connor and also win the Stanley Cup, then the Capitals have a chance.

In order to do so, they are advised to get that trap that worked so well over the first three games back in order. Close game or not, you just can't allow five goals in a playoff game.

The first game of the series was awesome, the story line is great, this is really shaping up to be a good series and I look forward to the game.
