We hit both of our plays again last night so we are off to a nice start betting on the NHL playoffs. Last night we had 3 of 4 of favs hit, all of which were at home and evened up their series at one game apiece. The lone dog that hit paid nicely with Dallas at +200, while 3 of 4 games went under the total. Even with NSH losing in OT, all four teams that were down 1-0 in their series all came with huge pushback games.
TOR/TB - This is where I expect TB to impose their will on TOR, on home ice! Cooper outcoached Keefe with his forward line and defense pairings in Game 2 even though he didn't have last line change. But now that Cooper has last line change I expect him to get the matchups he wants against the Matthews line, making their life miserable. Lean to TB -115.
CAR/BOS - Expect to see Jack Swayman in goal for the Bruins tonight after Ullmark was average in the first two games of this series. Bruce Cassidy will hope Swayman gives his team a lift as they have dominated in all aspects of the series so far. Will the home crowd give Boston the lift it sorely needs?! Can Carolina ride a 3rd string goalie over the next 2 games by getting at least a split in Boston? Lean to BOS -130 because of the Bruins lose this one, it's over so I expect Boston to sink everything into this game.
MIN/STL - The Blues have dominated the Wild over the years at home and Minny wasn't nearly as good on the road vs. their home record this year. I wonder if Berube makes a change in goal. I will wait to see who is announced as the starter, but I am definitely leading to STL -115, just like TB, teams that are favs of -115 over the other team receiving a line of -105, has been very profitable this season.
EDM/LA - Believe it or not, the Kings were better on the road this year than at home. It will be interesting to see if EDM can carry the momentum they gained from Game 2 into tonight's game. LA went under the total a lot more don't stretch at home, while EDM also went under the total more when on the road. Lean to the under 6.5.
Playing tonight - will most likely be adding a play on the Blues later today.
