On Florida vs. Washington….
This series definitely plays into the hands of the Panthers. The Panthers can do it all and they are the epitome of team that looks like they are ready to strike. They can score more than any team in several years and the return of Ekblad will help them shutdown some of the Caps firepower…. I don’t see the Caps D or Goalies being able to stop this kind of offense…

On NY Rangers vs. Penguins… The Rangers have the one thing that changes everything. The goalie. The Penguins are in a tough spot facing this Rangers team within the Pens starting keeper. I believe the Rangers could be the team coming out of the East, so obviously I see them winning this series…but it could be a war..

On Colorado vs Nashville…
This series I believe will have the potential to be the most excit9ng series….right up there with LA/Edmonton.. The Avalanche are a hard team to beat, but the Preds are the exact kind of team Colorado DOESN’T want to play against…If Saros was healthy I would be looking hard at the upset…Saros will miss the first two games…If the Preds can steal one of those I like Nashville to be the big upset. I am betting that could happen….

On Calgary vs Dallas…
This is the battle of two of the best #1 lines in hockey. The Flames just have a lot more AND Markstron for Calgary, like Shesterkin in NY, is a potential difference maker.. Calgary needs to be careful not to get too high or too low should Dallas win one these first two….The Stars can steal games, but I don’t see them stealing 4…
