The Anaheim Ducks announced yesterday that they’ve hired Jeff Solomon as their assistant general manager and vice president of hockey operations.

It’s interesting to see Solomon being brought on board as assistant general manager and a storyline to track will be general manager Bob Murray’s role with the Ducks, as his contract will be up next summer. The Ducks also promoted Martin Madden to be an assistant general manager last summer.
