The Anaheim Ducks acquired defenseman Trevor Carrick from the San Jose Sharks yesterday, in exchange for prospect Jack Kopacka.

Kopacka was selected by the Ducks in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft but has yet to play an NHL game. The 22-year-old forward had seven goals and 15 points in 37 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls last season. Kopacka was traded to the Ottawa Senators, after being acquired by the Sharks.
