The Pittsburgh Penguins fell to the Detroit Red Wings in overtime by a score of 3-2. It was a battle of two lowly teams doing lowly team things. Outside of Crosby earning a point nothing of significance happened during the game and that’s how a lot of these are going to go for now.
The real attraction last night was Evgeni Malkin’s 500th goal ceremony which took place before the game last night.

Things have been so shoddy he is catching strays from Team Sweden.
The last place Blue Jackets await the Penguins tomorrow. It could be the return of Tristan Jarry.
