Announced today was the moving of Stefan Noesen to the LTIR with knee surgery that will likely end his season. This apparently opens up space for the return of Jonathan Kovacevic and more importantly, the scratching of Dougie Hamilton. Hamilton, the cancer in the locker room as many including Elliotte Friedman suspected, is set up with the fourth pair in today's practice.
A pleasant surprise at the expense of Noesen. Hope he recovers fully and is ready to go for Red Wings or Capitals camp next season...
