On Marc Methot...
The Oilers and Sens have had discussions regarding a deal that would send Marc Methot to the Oilers for Dave Perron plus a pick and a prospect. The Sens have talked about upping the deal and would like Draisaitl, but for now word is the Oilers are not looking to move him. The Stars and Kings have also asked about Methot...the Sens may be interested in the King's offering more than the Star's as of now...
On Tyler Myers...
The Oilers and Red Wings continue to have interest in Myers...."The Price has gone up lately though.." A source confirmed....The Kings, who have entered into the aggressive market for a D-man, apparently turned down a Myers proposal which included "a young player on Lombardi's "no trade list."
On the Leafs...
I am told the Leafs "mildly explored" the concept of a Lecavalier deal but it is not going anywhere.
On the Bruins and Oilers...
The Bruins have had several discussions with the Oilers and could be the best landing spot for Yakupov. The Oilers would like Krug, a prospect, and a pick. Yakupov on the Bruins could be a good fit..
