A banged up Islander team is getting set to play the back end of a home and home series in Ottawa tonight against the Senators. The Sens will be honoring Daniel Alfredsson before the game so I expect they will come out of the gate flying.
The Islanders will start the red hot Jaroslav Halak who is looking to set a franchise record with his eleventh straight win. Travis Hamonic will not play tonight and he will be replaced in the lineup by Griffin Reinhart. The defense is clearly banged up right now, but if the team as a whole continues to play responsibile in it's own end, they can still win games.
Michael Grabner will return to the lineup and finally make his season debut. We are still waiting on the forward lines tonight and it is unclear who he will be replacing. Cal Clutterbuck is banged up but he did make the trip with the team. As soon as the forward lines are announced I will update this thread.
