THE BUZZ
The Blackhawks go for their ninth straight win, many of the previous 8 over the best teams in the league. The resurgent Islanders have to be considered at or near that level, driven in part by a great season thus far from former Hawk Nick Leddy.
It appears Jonathan Toews will play tonight after taking a header into the boards in Boston Thursday. Starting goalie Corey Crawford could return soon and is practicing with the team.
