There is no question that Karri Ramo raised his stock greatly in these playoffs and has apparently propelled himself to the top of the UFA Goalie class above Antii Niemi, Jhonas Enroth, Michal Neuvirth, and Viktor Fasth. Andrew Hammond is also a UFA but I am hearing that it is looking very strong that he returns to Ottawa.
The most intriguing possibility could see Ramo simply moving North in Alberta to take over the Oilers starting spot. A great fit obviously and that possibility could mean the Flames are forced to make a bigger play for Ramo. The Sharks are another team with strong interest and the Sabres and Canes could be lurking as well.
The Sabres could see Michal Neuvirth return I am told, but they also like Niemi....The Sharks really like Enroth.
