Darren Dreger passed along some information today on the Sharks head coaching vacancy...
Pete DeBoer was also on Edmtn's radar. It's believed the Sharks want a second interview with DeBoer. Bylsma, Carlyle and Dave Lowry in mix
— Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) May 17, 2015DeBoer, Bylsma and Lowry I can live with. Carlyle I cannot. The Sharks saw their possession game dip last season. They'll go full swan-dive with Randy Carlyle running the show.
For anyone not privy to Lowry, he's the head coach of the Victoria Royals in the WHL. He also won coach of the year for the league in the 2013-2014 season.
Fear The Fin also reported that the Sharks have asked permission to speak to Mike Babcock. I'm not sure what Scrooge McPlattner can offer Babcock that would trick him into coming to San Jose - but it seems like they're a little late to the party.
I don't see any reason for Babcock to leave Detroit to come to San Jose, it just doesn't make sense.
What say you? Of the above coaches, who would you want more?
