In terms of what came in and what went out I don't think any team got as much value out of their trades as the Anaheim Ducks.
They acquired a 24-year-old established NHLer in Brandon Pirri for just a 6th round pick. Pirri has proven to be a very good goal scorer - he has 33 goals in his last 101 games(!) - so to get a guy like that, especially at his age, for just a 6th is an absolute steal.
The Ducks also landed a solid middle-6 forward in Jamie McGinn who is built for the rugged, up-tempo style the Ducks and many Western Conference teams play.
He can play in any situation, will chip in offensively and the Ducks only had to dish out a conditional 3rd to get him.
To make room for these guys the Ducks dealt Patrick Maroon to Edmonton for a 4th and a prospect but, all in all, I think the Ducks had an excellent day.

If we are counting the deals leading up to the deadline, Chicago. Far and away.
If we are counting just deadline day...I'd say pretty much every team that DIDN'T buy on a deal. There was a looooot of garbage out there and a lot of overpayment for it.
Calgary probably had the best moves on the day and of the trade deadline. They unloaded Russell and Jones and picked up cap space, Jokipakka, Pollock, a conditional 1st/2nd, and a 6th. Not to mention they picked up Shinkaruk earlier and dealt Hudler for a 2nd and 4th.
Carolina had some great rebuild moves also.
But it was Calgary for me. Embrace the rebuild, Treliving.
Ed Stein I'm not sure there was a single winner in the deadline sweepstakes. Several teams improved their rosters. Chicago has to be near the top. They added a top six wing, a couple of depth wings, and a defenseman who stabilizes the unit. After that, Florida got a couple of good players who should really help down the stretch. The Panthers big haul has to be tempered by the fact they virtually gave Brandon Pirri away to the Ducks.
