SATURDAY QUICK HITS
* QMJHL Semifinals: The Rimouski Oceanic took a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven semifinal series with the Val-d'Or Foreurs as they earned a 4-3 overtime victory in Game One on Friday night. Flyers 2013 first-round pick Samuel Morin (Rimouski) was plus-one with one shot on goal, one credited hit and a third period minor penalty for tripping. Flyers 2014 second-round pick Nicolas Aube-Kubel (Val-d'Or) earned the lone assist on the Foreurs' first goal, setting up Anthony Richard to briefly tie the game at 1-1 in the latter stages of the first period. For the game, Aube-Kubel was minus one and did not put a shot on goal. Game Two is Saturday at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
* WHL Semifinals: The Calgary Hitmen got pummeled in Game One of their series with the Brandon Wheat Kings, losing 9-4. Flyers 2014 first-round pick Travis Sanheim did not record a point for Calgary, and was minus-one on the night. Sanheim took a second-period cross-checking penalty and later was part of a multi-player scrum in the third period. Hitmen teammate and Flyers 2014 sixth-round pick Radel Fazleev was minus-three without a shot on goal. He was also one of the multiple penalized players in the third-period flareup at the 5:11 mark. Game Two is Saturday at 9:30 p.m. EDT.
* WHL Semifinals: The Kelowna Rockets took a 1-0 lead in their series with the Portland Winterhawks, riding a three-goal second period to victory after trailing 2-0 at the first intermission. Flyers 2013 third-round pick Tyrell Goulbourne was minus-one without a point for the Rockets. In the latter stages of the third period, Goulbourne and Portland defenseman Blake Heinrich went off for coincidental roughing penalties. Game Two is Saturday at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
* IIHF World Championships: Lehigh Valley Phantoms defenseman Oliver Lauridsen was officially named to Team Denmark's roster on Friday. This will be the third World Championship tournament for the 26-year-old defenseman.
* IIHF World Championships: Former Phantoms forward Marcel Noebels has withdrawn from the tournament due to a shoulder injury. He was to have represented Germany.

FLYERS ALUMNI IN ACTION FOR SATURDAY BENEFIT GAME
The Flyers Alumni Team will play a benefit game at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, on Saturday afternoon. Game time is 1 p.m. on the Flyers (left-side) rink. All proceeds will go to benefit the Willis Foundation, Historic Philadelphia and to charitable causes.
Unlike many Alumni Team games, this event is designed to be a small-group setting with only eight to 10 admissions for the general public. Attendees will have the opportunity to have a meet-and-greet afterwards with the participating Alumni players, which will allow for greater interaction.
