Interesting concept, lots of doubt in the comments section that this league will play at all or be more than a “beer league….
Today Detroit has signed Czech player Jakub Rychlovsky to an ELC. The 23 left shot winger, according to the article, will have a chance in camp to make the team. This may put to rest the thought of Detroit being done with Czech players
Jakub Rychlovsky put up 46 points in 51 games (26g 20a) a big boost from point totals in his career. For Czechnia internationally he put up 9 points in 10 games (3g, 6a) so this is a bit of a gamble in terms of a stand out year that seems to defy his career thus far. Left shooting, 5’10… this isn’t an overwhelming specimen so it will be interesting to see how he fares at camp and in the pre season. Let me know your thoughts and where you slate JR for next year.
