The Lightning are being aggressive when it comes to bringing in a D-man, and many are reporting that D-Man will be Mike Green. And it still may be, but I am hearing the Capitals offer is extremely high and the Lightning haven't given up on the possibility of Erik Karlsson, if not now then at the draft. So instead the Bolts are battling the Leafs for Niklas Hjalmarsson.

Hearing a lot of talk involving the Hurricanes and JvR. The Hurricanes are definite buyers I am told. Even if they are sitting just outside the playoffs they will be buyers, as the new ownership wants to show commitment.
On Max Pacioretty....
The Blues are putting the best deal forward at this time. The Penguins were involved, but appear to be looking elsewhere. The Blues backup plan looks to be Ottawa's Mike Hoffman.
On Max Domi...
Domi looks to be more of a draft trade, but that hasn't stopped teams from talking and laying groundwork. So far I am hearing up to 5 teams have inquired; the Rangers, Islanders, and Canucks are the only three I have been able to confirm.
