Congrats to y(our) Florida Panthers on becoming Eastern Conference Champs and heading to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year in a row!
They will meet the Edmonton Oilers, who punched their ticket to the Cup Finals Sunday night after their 2-1 win over the Dallas Stars.
This should be a fast paced series with serious talent on both sides. I feel much better coming in to the finals this year than I did last year with the Cats health-wise.

We’ll get more into the X’s and O’s as we get closer to Game 1 this Saturday. For now, it seems one of the interesting series topics will be the travel between Edmonton and Florida — and the potential toll it could take on the teams.
I hadn’t thought about the distance between the teams. A quick Google search says the flight from Sunrise to Edmonton is roughly 7 hrs 54 min. That travel day is going to be key to get some serious rest in when crossing multiple time zones.

"Catch up on sleep."
Looks like the league spaced out the schedule to accommodate for jet lag.
What do you guys think…will the travel play a role (affect) the series?
