When the NHL announced the Michael Bunting Suspension was 3 games I felt honestly shocked. I am not saying this wasn’t a penalty, or even a dirty play, but three games feels way more pre-mediated than it looked…. I have seen other dirty hits in these playoffs go completely unnoticed….The hit on Pavelski by Dumba. The cheap shot crosscheck Suter put on Kaprizov…..to name a few
Bunting has a bit of a reputation for arguing with refs in games….The severity here HAS to have something to do with the fact Bunting tends to complain a bit too much…Let this be a lesson to you kids!
On the Panthers…
The Panthers played a phenomenal road playoff game in the hardest place to play that game in the NHL. And there was more to it than just the win. The Big Bad Bruins lost their cool against a Panthers team that is every bit as annoying and tough as anyone….I said this is a long series….and last night showed that to be the case….
