Stupid is as stupid does.
Boston Bruins Brad Marchand agitator reared his ugly head late in the first period of a game that his team needs to win.
Again.
Don't let his 39 goals and 46 points in 79 games and in an MVP season fool you.
Marchand has a dark side that he cannot hide.
Look at this garbage spear that Marchand deliberately and maliciously threw at the groin an unsuspecting opponent.
Nice of Marchie to hit his victim in the face with his stick after the crime was committed.
Marchand received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for this nut on Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Jake Dotchin.
Thanks, NBCSN
Scuzzy. Selfish. Stupid. Reckless.
Marchand is all of the above.
Marchand will be getting a call from the NHL Department of Player Safety, right?
Right?!!!
His latest spear deserves a 5-7 games suspension. Marchand needs to be grabbed by the scruff of his neck and shaken to his senses. He's a skilled narcissistic, arrogant performer who thinks he's bigger than the game. Let's see how cool he is when he has to miss playoff games due to a well deserved suspension.
Dude's rap sheet is a mile long and it doesn't even include the suspensions and fines that he has beaten the rap on.
Marchand better get two NHL rule books thrown at him by @NHLPlayerSafety pic.twitter.com/EIdiaTxbgK

Bruins ownership and management best not meddle and interfere with DOPS throwing two rule books at Marchand, who has broken rules and disrespected opponents umpteen times in his NHL career.
Please, hockey gods. Kill the Instigator Rule and make Marchand have to drop gloves and defend his cowardly actions.
Et tu, Marchie?

Jack Eichel wants loyal Sabres fans to know that he and his teammates sincerely appreciate them for their steadfast devotion and undying loyalty to their hockey team.
On the day after an embarrassing beat down to the Leafs on Monday night, Eichel reflected on the miserable 2016-17 season and how he is not happy about it.
“You want to please the fans because of all they’ve been through and all they continue to put up with,… Eichel said this morning following practice. “You still want to be better. It’s disappointing our season’s ending like this".
The Sabres will miss the playoffs for the sixth straight season. Eichel's first two NHL seasons have been Ho-Hum. While Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews are heading to the Stanley Cup playoffs, Eichel and his Sabres teammates are leaving for the premature summer.
“Pretty loyal to us, obviously,… Eichel said.
“Sellout games, we don’t play well, they’re here. We played good they’re here. We play bad they’re here. I got nothing but great things to say about these fans. They’ve been nothing but great to us, nothing but great to me, my family, all my friends. Whenever they’re in town, they treat them great.
“Myself, it’s been a mediocre two years.…
Eichel doesn't pull any punches. This is not what he signed up for. Eichel wants to lead his team to the playoffs. He's sick and damn tired of sending his fans home always craving more.
"For them (fans) to continue to support us and be behind us, selling games out.... the Islanders game Sunday at 3, people are still here. There’s 19,000 people here. I’m sure if we were in other cities it wouldn’t be the same case. You’ve got to appreciate that as a player. It’s a lot better coming here than to an empty building.
“More than anything, it’s a bit disappointing, a bit embarrassing for us as players that we can’t be better for them. You want to please the fans because of all they’ve been through and all they continue to put up with. You just want to be better.…
Thanks, Sabres TV
