Brayton J. Wilson… asks - Will Da Costa or Zaripov find homes in the NHL any time soon? My answer: Stephane DaCosta is likely done pursuing an NHL contract, as he is out with an undisclosed health issue indefinitely, and by the time he returns NHL teams will be all set for the season. As for Danis Zaripov, his ask appears to be sky high for someone his age, but there are still a couple of teams that are trying to get him before the puck drops for the season opener.
Joe… asks - Dadonov worth drafting in 8-10 team leagues? My answer: Absolutely. He will be a surprise of the season for many.
Nicholas Lippa asks - What should we look for heading to the Olympics regarding the KHL? My answer: I honestly don't think I will be paying any sort of attention to the Olympics for multiple reasons: 1.) No Team Latvia. 2.) No NHL players. Which probably means that the only thing to look for is the KHL goaltending prospects of NHL teams, that will battle it out to make the roster.
Mathieu Paradis asks - Why is it so long for Detroit to trade Sheahan and sign Athanasiou after that? My answer: The Detroit Red Wings are not willing to trade Sheahan for a bag of pucks, while the other teams believe he isn't worth anything at all. Depth forward doesn't bring you back the value you want, so the team is stuck in the sand.
Costa the Great… asks - Will there be a 50 goal scorer and or a 100pt scorer this year? My answer: Yes and yes.
