The Penguins and Avalanche played a pretty entertaining game on Saturday afternoon which ended with a 3-2 victory for Colorado. It is always nice to see that amount of skill on the ice and to think there are even more skilled players (Kadri, Landeskog, Zucker) who were not playing in the game. We won’t have to wait long to see a rematch. The Avs will be in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Will Jason Zucker be ready to go by then?

If you take this at face value it would appear serious injury was avoided. However, an Instagram post is not a diagnosis and we will continue to wait for more word from the Penguins. Zucker did take the ice today. He was not in full gear and he did not stay for long
Jason Zucker just came out on the ice in a track suit and skated around with Ty Hennes for a few minutes. He went back to the locker room.

As for when an update is forthcoming? Tomorrow seems to be the day
Sullivan said he talked to Zucker this morning, "and his spirits were really good. He's feeling better. We'll see where it goes. But he was in much better spirits and he was much more encouraged when I saw him."
