The Anaheim Ducks have announced additions to their coaching and operations staff.
Craig Johnson has been named as an assistant coach for the Anaheim Ducks, while Jim Johnson has been named Director of Player Development.
Craig Johnson was an assistant coach with the AHL’s Ontario Reign last season but has also recently worked as a scout and development coach with the Los Angeles Kings. He also played in the NHL for 10 years, suiting up for 557 career games.

Additionally, the Ducks announced today that Roy Sommer will take over as head coach of the AHL’s San Diego Gulls. Sommer has been a head coach in the AHL for more than 20 years with the San Jose Sharks organization and holds the AHL record for wins by a head coach.
