Whether it be the preseason or the regular season, beating your rivals is always a lovely feeling. The Anaheim Ducks were able to do just that as they took it to the Los Angeles Kings, beating them 4-2.
The Kings may have gotten the scoring started with a goal in the first period by Justin Auger, but the Ducks came out firing in the second scoring three straight. Rickard Rakell picked up his first goal of the preseason and Jaycob Megna, Mitch Hults, and Jakob Silfverberg provided to the scoring efforts as well. Silfverberg actually put together the most offense in the game, recording two assists to go along with his goal.

John Gibson and Ryan Miller saw some action in net last night which gave fans a better idea of what things will look like this season. Gibson played just under 32 minutes, stopping 10 of 11 shots. Miller then came in to relieve Gibson and 12 saves on 13 shots.
The Anaheim Ducks will get their first taste ever of the Vegas Golden Knights as they look to win their second preseason game in a row on Sunday.
