BREAKING - Jobs (Blue Jackets)

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced this morning prior to their postseason press conference that head coach Brad Larsen and goaltending coach Manny Legace have been relieved of their duties.

Larsen had one year remaining on his coaching contract. He was 62-86-16, not being in the postseason either season as the big club bench boss.

Larsen had been in the organization since 2010, part of the Springfield Falcons organization, going from assistant to head coach with Springfield. Following his time there, he was promoted as assistant coach under John Tortorella.

The coaching search is underway.

Legace has been with the Jackets’ organizations since the 17-18 season, starting with the Cleveland Monsters.

Maybe a recall?

Where do the Jackets go next?
