RUMORS: On Draisaitl, McDavid and Nylander…. |

Now that American thanksgiving has passed it’s time to start ramping up the rumors again. And this year we aren’t talking small rumors. No my friend….we are talking major rumors…so sit back and let that Turkey digest…
And for the first time, we are talking Edmonton Oilers superstars rumors, because the Oilers having lost three straight…are looking hard into the mirror right now. I know on the other side of that mirror contains plenty of teams willing to help them out if they’re willing to look into a massive change.
My sources tell me the Boston Bruins have made several calls regarding Leon Draisaitl, and see him as their main target should Edmonton decide, or should Leon Draisaitl decide, the road is coming to an end in Edmonton.
There is also no secret about the Toronto Maple Leafs desire to bring home Connor McDavid. A source told me this morning that part of the problem signing William Nylander long term is the possibility that McDavid becomes available. “ Everyone would be in play,” the source continued,”but adding McDavid would be impossible if William Nylander where to exceed $10 million a year.”
There’s also a strong interest in Leon Draisaitl from the Buffalo Sabres. Would Sabres be willing to give up one of their first overall defenseman, Plus a pick?
All I can say is the worst the Oilers play the more interesting things become in the Rumor World, and right now the value of Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid couldn’t be higher…
