With the NHL announcing that the regular season schedule will only resume on Monday, Dec. 27 after tonight, the Los Angeles Kings’ game against the Vegas Golden Knights scheduled for Thursday has been postponed.

This comes after the team’s game against the Edmonton Oilers (originally scheduled for tomorrow) was already postponed, due to the pause on games involving cross-border travel. The Kings’ next game will now come on Dec. 27 against the Arizona Coyotes.

The Kings enter the break tied with the 10th best points percentage in the Western Conference and hold a 14-11-5 record through 30 games.

In other news, defensemen Alex Edler and Sean Walker have both been placed on long-term injured reserve. The moves were made to maximize the team's cap flexibility.
