The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they’ve signed forward Pavol Regenda to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Regenda is undrafted and spent the last two seasons playing in Slovakia’s top league. This season, the 22-year-old scored 15 goals and 39 points in 43 games. The financial details of the contract weren’t released by the team but PuckPedia reports the cap hit as $855,000.

The forward stands at 6-foot-4 and earned a Bronze Medal with Slovakia at the 2022 Olympics. Given that the bottom of the Ducks' forward group is a bit crowded, it’ll be interesting to see what the plan is for Regenda in the next couple years.
