The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they’ve hired Joel Bouchard to be the next head coach of the AHL’s San Diego Gulls.

The @anaheimducks today named Joel Bouchard, who led the Laval Rocket to a Canadian Division championship in 2020-21, as our head coach.
Bouchard also had a career as an NHL defensemen, playing 364 career games with the Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, Phoenix Coyotes, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders.
