Numerous reports that Brad Richards has been bought out by the New York Rangers. The 34-year-old center had six years remaining at $6.67 Million.

We discussed this possibility the other day on the podcast and I had a source text me he was surprised this hadn't yet gotten out there.
The rumored deal he had heard was:
Jason Spezza, and Ottawa's 2nd and 3rd this year for Sharp + a conditional pick next year if Spezza is extended.
UPDATE: Also Pierre Lebrun is reporting the Rangers have indeed bought out Brad Richards.
