The Carolina Hurricanes (once again) look to stay perfect tonight, as they host the Columbus Blue Jackets.
According to NHL.com’s Kurt Dusterberg, the projected lineups are:
COLUMBUS
Gustav Nyquist - Pierre-Luc Dubois - Cam Atkinson Alexandre Texier - Alexander Wennberg - Oliver Bjorkstrand Nick Foligno - Boone Jenner - Emil Bemstrom Jakob Lilja - Riley Nash - Sonny Milano
Zach Werenski - Seth Jones Ryan Murray - Markus Nutivaara Vladislav Gavrikov - David Savard
Elvis Merzlikins Joonas Korpisalo
CAROLINA Nino Niederreiter - Sebastian Aho - Teuvo Teravainen Andrei Svechnikov - Jordan Staal - Brock McGinn Ryan Dzingel - Erik Haula - Martin Necas Warren Foegele - Lucas Wallmark - Julien Gauthier
Jaccob Slavin - Dougie Hamilton Joel Edmundson - Brett Pesce Jake Gardiner - Haydn Fleury
James Reimer Petr Mrazek
The Blue Jackets are without a key forward as Josh Anderson is out with a back injury, while Trevor van Riemsdyk remains sidelined for Carolina and Julien Gauthier replaces Jordan Martinook.
Columbus comes in to the game with a 1-3 record and the Hurricanes are probably not the team you want to play against right now to try to change that. Elvis Merzlikins draws in for the Blue Jackets after being lit up for seven goals against Pittsburgh last week. James Reimer is expected to start his third game with the Hurricanes, entering with a .940 save percentage.
For the Hurricanes, this is probably a good team to be playing on the second half of a back-to-back. The Blue Jackets also played last night and are a weaker team who's missing a productive forward.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
