The nightmare season just won't cease for the Buffalo Sabres. Mired in a nine game winless streak, the Sabres received more bad news on Saturday morning.
Ralph Krueger has announced that his captain Jack Eichel is out for the foreseeable future with a cervical ailments that he suffered last Sunday when NY Islanders agitator Casey Cizikas used his stick to defend Eichel on the glass. The Sabres lost the game 5-2.

Despite playing through two injuries this season, Eichel is second in scoring on the Sabres with 2 goals and 16 assists in 21 games played.
Krueger also added that rookie center sensation Dylan Cozens is out day-to-day.
Cozens was injured on Thursady night when Penguins forward Zach Aston-Reese suckered the rookie with a blindside hit.
