The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they have recalled Jacob Fowler from the Laval Rocket this morning. At this point, it is unclear if one of Montembeault or Dobes are injured or sick, but I imagine that Fowler will get the start tonight against Ottawa.
Going forward, we will see if they decide to go with a three man rotation like they did earlier in the season or if they are going to ride Dobes and Folwer for the remainder of the year. One thing is clear though, and that is Montembeault has lost his game and confidence. With the standings so tight in the east, the Habs can't afford to miss out on points because of poor goaltending. Hopefully this move pays off, and Montreal is able to string some wins together and get atop the Eastern Conference standings.
The game vs the Sens begins at 7:30 tonight in what should be a highly energetic game between these two rivals.
