I invested in the GoPro Camera below because it is so versatile and we use it for all sorts of fun video recordings (skiing, swimming, dogcams, etc.) It is pricey though ($299) but sometimes you can find an older model for less. What you are looking for here is a small, wideangle camera that can take a beating.
