The Penguins flew back today from Arizona and have hit the ice for an evening practice.
Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist have rejoined the team although not in a full capacity.
Hornqvist just kind of stickhandling on his own. No contact. Haven't seen him take a serious shot yet.

Hornqvist of course had that incident in the Bruins game where it appeared his back locked up on him. Even though he isn't participating in a full capacity it is nice to see him back on his skates again.
Christian Ehrhoff was also not at practice for the Penguins tonight. He mysteriously was removed from the Arizona game on Saturday night with no real explanation.
Doesn't look like Malkin is ready for contact. No battle drills.

It is also nice to see Malkin back with the team. There is really no need to push him to rush back into the lineup. The Penguins are not in danger of missing the playoffs and their first round matchup is almost set in stone as well.
Looks like the Penguins will be visiting Nassau Coliseum again after all.

Buffalo and Arizona are in a heated battle for 30th overall and a guaranteed stake in McEichel. Brandon Sutter's goal on Saturday night might be the tankiest goal that has ever been scored. Eat your heart out Buffalo.
