The NHL announced the finalists for the Hart Trophy on Saturday, Chicago's Patrick Kane, Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars and two-time Hart winner Sidney Crosby are the three nominees.
Kane is the favorite to take the Hart, after leading the NHL with 106 points and finishing second to Alex Ovechkin for the Rocket Richard Trophy with 46 goals.
Benn (the 2015 Art Ross Trophy winner) finished second to Kane with 89 points and lead the Stars to the Central Division title and best record in the Western Conference, while Crosby rebounded after a woeful first half to finish third in league scoring with 85 points and have a chance to win the league's MVP award for the third time.
