There's no more cying about the Winnipeg JEts GM being 'stand pat' Chevy when it comes to acquiring assets at the trade deadline as the Jets GM pulled off his second deal in almost 2 weeks.
Jiri Tlusty aquired for a 2016 3rd round pick and conditional 6th in 2015. If the Jets make the playoffs the conditional pick becomes a 5th rounder.
I had posted that Jiri Tlusty could be a target HERE on Feb 18th after the loss of Perreault.

Compared to the Bergenheim deal that had many Jets fans upset last night this seems like a reasonable rental effort by the GM without giving up too much. Tlusty may be the better player too as he has been playing, unlike Bergenheim recently.
It's a step and with Blake Wheeler now out with the lower body injury varietal help in the forward group was needed.
