Who would have thought that in 2015 the Islanders would be the team getting other teams' coaches fired but that is what happened last night as the Isles beat the Blue Jackets by a score of 4-0. The Blue Jackets promptly fired their head coach Todd Richards this morning as a result to a dreadful start to the year. New York did not play their best hockey and despite too many dumb penalties, the Islanders killed off 6 straight Blue Jackets powerplays.
