Hotstove: Which Old Face In A New Place Has Impressed You The Most? (Devils)

In this edition of the hostove we discuss which old face in a new place has impressed us the most this season.

Todd Cordell

I'm going to go off the board a little bit and say Kyle Palmieri.

I expected he would be able to contribute offensively and help the Devils improve in that regard but I didn't think his impact would be this significant. He has five goals, 12 points and 38 shots through 14 games and very much looks the part of a top-6 forward.

The Devils have been one of the surprise teams in the early going and Palmieri's play has been as big of a factor as any.

James Tanner I think Colton Parayko has been the biggest revelation of the season so far. He's a rookie, but I think you might have just meant players traded in the off season.

If so, Ryan O'Reilly. 53% Corsi + a point-per-game? I couldn't think of anyone who switched teams who's even close.
