On Kucherov...
Things are getting VERY dicey for the Tampa Bay Lightning, and per a source of mine there looks to be some movement towards moving Kucherov but not through an offer sheet. Rather a trade -- well a trade brought on by the threat of an offer sheet.
And as of now, the one team most involved appears to be the Montreal Canadiens, who would love to unite Kucherov with Alexander Radulov.
Isles and Yotes deal?
As I hinted at yesterday a deal is being discussed or at least many people I have talked to say they are hearing a trade is possible. Arizona is interested in bring Ryan Strome to join his brother in the desert. The Isles are rumored to be getting a VERY strong top-four defender and yes, that feels odd because the Isles have a bit of a logjam at D. All I can say is we all know Garth Snow is very adept at tying multiple deals together, so we can only assume if the Strome deal was to go down it would be along with another deal.
