We have seen a few minor deals go down lately...the latest being the Rangers have signed Daniel Paille and the Hawks made a very sneaky deal acquiring Jiri Sekac from the Ducks in exchange for Ryan Garbutt....
There are some major rumblings going on...
* Keep your eye on Nashville again....but not likely a deal with Tampa. * The Minnesota Wild are a possibility to pull the trigger...again not with Tampa. * The Penguins are also looking hard to make a "major move." * There are starting to be rumors surrounding Winnipeg that the Jets may be close to considering allowing teams to talk to Byfuglien or Ladd about what it will take to get them extended...The Jets realize each player has way more value if they aren't just rentals.

And just now....the Habs GM Marc Bergevin addressed his team and the media today giving a vote of confidence for Michel Therrien while saying Carey Price could still be a month away...I don't really understand this by Bergevin...Therrien has done nothing to help this team since Price has gone down...coaching by making your team hate you has a definite expiration date...Bergevin has done a great job putting the team together...the Canadiens are WAY better than they are playing. Therrien has shown no ability to adjust to the players he has and simply drives skilled players crazy....and we have seen this all before in Pittsburgh....
