Coming off just their second win in 12 games the Calgary Flames are back in action tonight looking to win consecutive games for the first time since early February.
Oddly enough, the last time the Flames were able to string together a bit of a winning streak it was the Sharks they beat last before it came to an end.
The Flames will be in tough trying to do that again, though, as the Sharks have won 17 of their last 26 games and own an incredible 23-9-3 record away from home ice.

Notes
1) The Sharks lead the league in 5 v 5 high-danger scoring chance percentage as they get a 56.9% share. The Flames rank 23rd generating just 48.2%.
2) Joe Thornton has been absolutely dominant since December 1st tallying 47 points in the span of 41 games. It's amazing how effective he still is at age 36.
3) The Sharks are 5th in winning percentage when scoring first while the Flames are bottom-10 in winning percentage when conceding the first goal. Suffice to say scoring first is very important in this one.
The game is at 9:00 eastern and can be seen on SN-W and CSN-CA.
