G60 Canadiens @ Blue Jackets: Watch Out For Pacioretty (Max Pacioretty)

Match-up - Montreal Canadiens (39-16-5) @ Columbus Blue Jackets (26-29-3) Road/Home records - 18-9-1 -------------- 12-15-2 TV - RDS, SNE, FS-O Puck drop - 7:00 p.m. ET Season Series - 2-0 Habs Last 10 - Canadiens: 7-1-2 ------------ Blue Jackets: 5-4-1 Projected starting goalies - Carey Price vs Curtis McElhinney

Projected lines for the Habs via DailyFaceoff.com:

Max Pacioretty - David Desharnais - Brendan Gallagher Lars Eller - Tomas Plekanec - Alex Galchenyuk Brandon Prust - Jacob De La Rose - Dale Weise Michael Bournival - Manny Malhotra - Christian Thomas

Andrei Markov - P.K. Subban Nathan Beaulieu - Tom Gilbert Jarred Tinordi - Greg Pateryn

Projected lines for the Blue Jackets:

Alex Wennberg - Ryan Johansen - Nick Foligno Matt Calvert - Brandon Dubinsky - Cam Atkinson Scott Hartnell - Artem Anisimov - Marko Dano Corey Tropp - Mark Letestu - Jared Boll

Jack Johnson - David Savard Jordan Leopold - James Wisniewski Fedor Tyutin - Cody Goloubef

What to watch:

1) Marko Dano has three points, and six shots on goal in his last three games while posting impressive possession numbers playing on a line centered by Anisimov. Columbus' season is lost at this point, so the development of youngsters is what's most important right now. Dano is in a good spot and his recent progress has been encouraging. I expect another solid effort tonight.

2) In his first game since it was reported he was being shopped, James Wisniewski had an assist, four shots on goal, and was a 71% possession player while logging almost 22 minutes against the Sabres. I still think the Blue Jackets should keep him, but if they're going to move him a nice stretch prior to the deadline could only help his value.

3) Max Pacioretty leads the Canadiens in goals, points, and scored the game-winning-goal against Columbus in both meetings this season. If Jack Johnson is matched up against Pacioretty again I don't expect the results to change.

4) Andrei Markov and P.K. Subban have combined for 18 goals and 80 points on the year. The Jackets best be covering their points and watching for trailers tonight.
