What to watch:

1) Despite playing some dreadful hockey together and being crushed in possession on a nightly basis, Mark Fraser and Pete Harrold are still a thing(!!). Expect them to be exploited once again tonight, regardless of who they're matched up against.

2) The Oilers allow a hair under 30 shots per game on average, while the Devils are averaging ~17 shots per game over their last five. New Jersey just might be able to record over 20 shots for the second game in a row.

3) Edmonton has had horrific goaltending for much of the season, so the Devils should be throwing pucks on net any chance they get. Will they? Probably not.

4) Cory Schneider has allowed two goals or less in 11 of his last 13 starts, and is up to a .924SV% on the season. He's playing at an elite level right now, and is probably the biggest reason the Devils are 5-1-1 in their last seven.

5) Neither team is particularly good at even-strength, so this could very well come down to special teams. New Jersey probably has the advantage in that regard, as their power play is clicking at 19.7% on the year.
