Following a pair of losses the New Jersey Devils were able to rebound last time out against the Arizona Coyotes.
The Devils played far from their best but, despite being severely undermanned, they ended up with the result they wanted.
They'll need to be much better tonight if they're going to pick up a win against a Calgary Flames team that has been pretty good of late (3-2-1 in last six; 11 goals for in last three games).
The good news for the Devils is they'll have reinforcements to help their cause as Mike Cammalleri - the Devils leading point getter - is slated to return to the lineup against one of his former clubs.
The Devils certainly need the shot in the arm Cammalleri will provide as they scored just 11 goals in eight games without him and looked lifeless offensively at times.
LINEUPS Cammalleri - Henrique - Stempniak Blandisi - Zajac - Palmieri Boucher - Kalinin - Kennedy Ruutu - Gionta - Tootoo

Notes
1) Joseph Blandisi has a pair of assists and five shots on goal in his last three games. With Cammalleri's return he's been moved off Adam Henrique's line and on to Travis Zajac's. Perhaps Blandisi can spark the latter and help him get back on track offensively.
2) The Smid - Wideman pairing isn't exactly stingy on the defensive side of things. John Hynes should put last change to use and get his top two offensive lines out against them whenever possible.
3) Sam Bennett enters this game scorching hot having registered six goals and 12 shots. He struggled to produce for a while but he's played well all season long and is a guy the Devils need to pay special attention to.
The game is at 7:00 eastern and can be seen on MSG+ and Sportsnet Flames.
