Edit: Subban Conference, Quick Hits Aug. 31st Edition, by Andrew Saadalla (Habs)

On what feels like the last day of summer here in Montreal (sorry!), here are a few quick hits regarding your Montreal Canadiens:

- P.K. Subban stays true to his word and celebrates his promise’s one-year anniversary by helping 9000 families and raising $1.4 million thus far.

- Subban has put his Montreal condo up for sale. It’s certainly beautiful, but could slightly be outside of your price range if you’re interested in purchasing it. The National Post reports that the annual condo fees are estimated at around $22,572 :

- Habs’ prospect Will Bitten has asked to be traded by the Flint Firebirds of the OHL. Reportedly, he is not satisfied with the direction in which the Firebirds are headed and feels like his development could continue elsewhere, such as with a playoff team like the Ottawa 67’s.

- Shea Weber recently bought a new house in Candiac, on the south shore of Montreal. Yes, it’s stunning, and you can click here to take a look at the pictures.

- Marc Bergevin is relishing the opportunity to attend the upcoming World Cup of Hockey. One of Team Canada’s 5 assistant general managers to GM Doug Armstrong, Bergevin believes that his role will definitely benefit his everyday tasks with the Montreal Canadiens. - Superstar goaltender Carey Price is 100% ready to go for Team Canada and has finished vacationing. CCM Hockey had the pleasure of showing off his new hockey masks for September’s tournament:

- Flying under the radar is Alex Galchenyuk, who for the second straight year is helping children in Quebec who deal with stuttering issues. Click here to read the report by the official Habs website.

- Finally, the Canadiens announced that today is the last day to vote for their AHL team’s name in Laval:
