Follow @james_tanner123 This past Saturday night, the Coyotes were losing to the Blue Jackets but I was busy watching movies with my wife. It probably wasn't a good game - the Coyotes lost 5-2 - but you never know, the Coyotes are pretty fun to watch most nights.
Still, the Jackets and Coyotes just couldn't hold a candle on Saturday night to Chinese Food, James Bond and Judge Reinhold. Tonight though, my schedule is free and clear, and there are some delicious beverages on ice. (Well, in the fridge.)
The match-up is against the Islanders at the Barclay centre, whatever that is supposed to be advertising. My guess is shaving cream.
The Coyotes will go with Lindback and tonight's game will feature the season debuts of................wait for it.............Phillip 'the freak' Samuelsson, who one assumes will play at the expence of Stephan Elliott. I can't stress enough how great of a move it was to trade Brandon Gormley for a guy they don't appear to want in their lineup.
Also making his season debut is Craig "Richie" Cunningham aka Craig "The Animal" Steel aka Craig "Superfly" Snooker. He might be an anonymous replacement player, but he has more nicknames than Puff Daddy. Looks like Grossmann will be out again, so hit it P-Dids:
Sure, I want them to do well, but I'm just trying to be realistic here. Be prepared for the extended losing streak that comes from having one good centre on the roster and a goalie who is as reliable as asking your daughter to tape the game.
I know someone who could help explain what's going on:
Here's hoping another win occurs.
Thanks for reading.
